"Flagman" is an electronic game that is part of the "Game & Watch" series developed and produced by Nintendo. This game was released on June 5, 1980, as the second console in the "Silver" series and also the second "Game & Watch" in general, having orange as its characteristic color.

This "Game & Watch" was also known as "Flag Man" when the machine was sold by Mego under the brand "Time-Out" in the United States.

The game features a character holding flags, with the goal of the game being to repeat the movement of the character on screen in a particular order in "Game A" and in the fastest way possible in "Game B"

The game itself saw a single remake in "Game Boy Gallery" (which was later brought back as a minigame in "Wario Land" II with the character on screen being modified) and some ports via the "Game & Watch Gallery" series, and the DSiWare service.

The "Game A" mode in Flagman is a memory game where the player has to memorize the pattern of flags held up by the character. After the pattern is shown, a timer appears on the right side of the screen represented by 5 square to show how much time the player has left to input the pattern. If the player gets the pattern correct, they score one point. If they get the pattern wrong or time runs out, one life is lost. The game ends when all three lives are lost.

Game B[]

The "Game B" of Flagman is a game that focuses on quick reflexes. Numbers will appear on the left side of the screen. To score a point, the player must insert the number that appears before time runs out. The timer is much faster than it is in the "Game A" mode. If they insert the wrong number or time runs out, one life is lost. The game ends when all three lives are lost.

Triva[]
